Join us for our Hangar Hangout!

Welcome to Hangar Hangout, BC Aviation Council's (BCAC) Youth Engagement Committee's aviation and aerospace community initiative! Here you’ll have an opportunity to connect and converse with fellow aviation enthusiasts and professionals in the BC aviation and aerospace community.

Join us for our in-person, casual get-together. BCAC creates an inclusive, friendly, and inviting environment for everyone to meet new people, socialize, and connect. Open to everyone, young and old. Enjoy light refreshments, a social atmosphere, and a presentation by the hosts on their journey in aviation.

We want to thank the Southern Interior Flight Centre (SIFC), in collaboration with Kelowna Flying Club, and the Kelowna International Airport (YLW) for their generosity and providing their space to host this Hangar Hangout.

Please RSVP using the ticket purchase options below, as we have a capacity limit for safety reasons.

Please also consider a Voluntary Donation to our Youth Program. Tax receipts will be provided.

Full Address: Operations & Emergency Services Building (OESB) just north of the Air Terminal Building at 5557 Airport Way, Kelowna, BC
 

Parking Info: Parking is short distance away at the KF Aerospace Staff Parking Lot at 5600 Aerospace Drive (as shown in the drawing below). The entrance can be accessed off of Convair Place.

Fly-ins: For itinerant airplane parking, Apron III is a first-come-first-served option with very limited tie-downs. Alternately, the Shell Aerocentre is also available with their prior permission. Additional aircraft parking may become available closer to the event. Harmeet Garg, Assistant Chief Flight Instructor - Class 1, from the SIFC, has kindly arranged to shuttle any fly-ins to the HH event location. Please confirm with Harmeet prior to the event by calling/texting 778-939-7420 or email hgarg@flysifc.ca
