DESCRIPTION: Teara became the first-ever Indigenous woman to own an airline
  in Canada when she launched Iskwew Air last year on International Women's
  Day. http://iskwew.ca/ She is a trailblazer in the aviation industry\, 
 strongly advocating for women to pursue careers in aviation and aerospace.
  Teara\, a proud M&eacute\;tis bridge builder\, is a commercial pilot and 
 former CEO of K&icirc\;sik Aerial Survey\, an air operation she built from
  the ground up in 2010. http://kisik.ca Most recently\, Teara was named 
 one of Canada's 2020 Top 25 Women of Influence\, and one of the Women's 
 Executive Network (WXN) 2019 Canada's Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Award 
 Winner. It was also recently announced that Teara has been selected as one
  of the 18 women featured in the upcoming DC Comics' graphic novel 
 titled\, 'Wonderful Woman of History!' Teara holds a Master of Arts in 
 Leadership degree from Royal Roads University\, and she is a Certified 
 Executive Coach. The journey of learning now takes her back to Royal Roads
  as Associate Faculty\, and to Fielding University where she is studying 
 in the Human Development Ph.D. program. Join us to learn more about 
 Teara's inspiring story and discover how COVID-19 has challenged and 
 altered Iskwew Air's flightpath. We'll dive into Teara's thoughts about 
 being featured in the DC Comics' graphic novel\, and find out more about 
 what it means to "Dream it\, design it\, do it".
