I grew up in Prince George, BC as an athlete in alpine skiing and I was not introduced to aviation until my sixteenth birthday by my parents who got me an intro flight with Guardian Aerospace. I instantly fell in love with flying and how exhilarating it was. I wanted to start my private pilot's license to start my aviation career. My grandpa was a pilot for IFS and North Wood Pulp and he held an airline transport rating, while my dad was a private pilot. Once I gain enough experience and hours, my long-term goal is to become a water bomber pilot. I have always enjoyed bush flying and would love the opportunity to fight fires and help communities across Canada.
