I grew up on a small remote island on the coast of BC. If you got hurt, you had to be airlifted to the nearest hospital - this is where my interest in aviation first started. My interest turned into a passion, however without the financial ability to attend flight school, my dreams felt out of reach. Thought the years I thought about joining the aviation world through different avenues - ATC, Aircraft Engineering. Finally at 31 I decided it was "now or never". So I connected any and all dots I had to make it happen. I am now proud to say I am part of the elite group of female commercial helicopter pilots. I am currently looking to join the workforce and am so very excited to be starting my new career.
