At age 27, I made the decision to pursue a career in aviation following a scary unexpected health scare. This moment marked a turning point in my life, pushing me towards a new and unfamiliar path, as aviation had no prior connection to my world beyond vacation trips. Flying has since become a powerful symbol for me, overcoming challenges and reclaiming control of my life. I started working toward my Private Pilot License just a month before COVID-19 hit, and it's been a humbling financial journey ever since. Progress has been slower than I’d like due to the costs, but even five years later, I’m still determined to see this dream through and won’t give up.
