Volunteer Appreciation Reception (by invitation only)
BCAC Board Chair Cathy Press welcomes you to the complimentary Volunteer Appreciation Reception! Join us on Monday, June 2nd, 2025, from 4:30PM - 5:45PM at the Cordo Resto + Bar in the Delta Hotels Marriott.
The BCAC owes its passion, program delivery, growth, effectiveness and even its existence to the talents and dedication of our Volunteers. Numbering over 100 strong, our aviation and aerospace industry owes them a great deal.
This informal reception is a chance for the BCAC Board (also Volunteers) to express their appreciation for all you do.
So if you have volunteered your efforts on any BCAC Committee or project this year, please join us immediately before the Welcoming Reception.

Signature Dinner
Our conference Signature Dinner takes place on Tuesday, June 3rd, at the Sun Peaks Centre. Our Keynote Speaker will make their presentation during the Cocktail Reception, then local musician Kris Ruston will provide live music during the communal, long-table dinner in the Great Hall.
Guests will enjoy a locally-inspired menu crafted with fresh ingredients sourced from our region, shared around long harvest tables that encourage connection and conversation. It’s a taste of summer in the mountains, highlighting the best of what Sun Peaks and BC’s agricultural communities have to offer.
Transportation from the Delta Hotels Marriott Kamloops hotel will be provided.

Entertainment
Award-winning local musician Jeremy Kneeshaw will be impressing us with his musical stylings at the conference Welcoming Reception.
A songwriter and performer, Jeremy made the leap from a full time Carpenter to Musician in 2015. From early beginnings in piano at the age of 2, music has been his passion for his entire life; playing Guitar, Piano, Drums, Bass, Mandolin, Banjo, Flute, Accordion and more.
Having released his first album at 19, the self titled 'Jeremy Kneeshaw Album' recorded entirely by Jeremy himself, he won the Akedamia Jazz/Funk/Fusion award in November 2016, and was given a spot at the Akedamia Awards Ceremony at the Rosebowl Stadium in LA. Now, he, his duos, and his trio are working to take over the Western Canada and US music scenes to inspire a younger generation of upcoming musicians to follow their passions.
We're also fortunate to have local musician, composer and producer Kris Ruston provide us with live music at our Signature Dinner at the Sun Peaks Resort.
Kris has been an integral part of the Kamloops music scene since the late nineties. He attended Capilano University (North Vancouver) and received his Music Diploma (Jazz Studies) in 2004. During his time on the west coast, he studied with some of the most accomplished musicians in the world, recorded in a few of the most prestigious studios in Canada and worked with some of the most innovative producers of our time. Spending most of his time now in Kamloops, he plays with several groups, bouncing from genre to genre, playing guitar, piano and organ, bass, and percussion.
